My desktop icons disappeared today. All I did was delete one file, cdrdao. And rpm --rebuilddb then update-menus but it didn't happen then! Of course, I am running EasyMirror, trying to complete my first full download of cooker (I hear the subsequent updates will be quicker). Anyone have any idea of the size of this tree??? Anyway, I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this...BTW I didn't actually see it happen- I left and when I came back- only screen background, no icons! -- pax -m-
