Ron Stodden mentioned these recently. I am also a fan of these programs. and it is possible to run them on 7.2rc1. I used the source tarball from KDE 1.1.2, which built and installed OK, but kdf segfaulted and dumped core. I ran it with strace and discovered it was failing on pixmaps "Cannot convert a null pixmap". The cure is simple.
