Nevermind. I solved my own problems. For the record, I went back to XFree86 4.01, got rid of all the XFree86 3.3.6 RPMs (except for the SVGA and VGA16 servers), recompiled the cooker Mesa SRPM and recompiled the Wine SRPM. It worked this time. -Chris ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: wine-20000909-1mdk SRPM Date: Wed, 13 Sep 2000 18:18:17 -0600 From: Chris Spencer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I recently downloaded the latest SRPM of Wine and am having some problems getting it installed. It compiled fine, but when I try to install it I get the message "libGLcore.so.1 is needed by wine-20000909-1mdk". Weird thing is, I have libGLcore.so.1 in /usr/lib as a symbolic link to /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1.0.4. THIS might have something to do with it. I used to run XFree86 4.01 with the Nvidia drivers. I found it to be extremely unreliable and crash-prone so I decide to revert back to XFree86 3.3.6 using the XF86_SVGA server. I undid all of the changes that I made when I installed the Nvidia drivers and updated Mesa today as well, but still I cannot get this thing to install. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks... -Chris -------------------------------------------------------
