I am having difficulties with another point with gcombust
Bootable CDs.
I create a rescue floppy in Win98SE.
I grab a copy of that floppy by 'dd if=/dev/fd0
I like using gcombust but ever since mdk 8 (it used to work in mkd 7.2), it has not quite functioned correctly.
The progress window of a burn is off. (1mb of 5.8mb instead of 10mb of 580mb for example)
It does not affect the operation of the program, it just detracts from the whole

In beta4 and rc1 (gcombust is unchanged since Aug 8) there
is still the font size bug reported from beta3 by me:
When CDs are burning some of the numbers are not
displayed. I changed most of my fonts (except terminal)
to size 12 for my 1024x768 displays.

Now we have 0.1.47, but 0.1.49 is the latest one...

I'm not sure about this package freeze, but there is a new bugfix
release of gcombust 0.1.49.
Since cooker only contains 0.1.47 and this is my favourite burning
application, I thought it would be nice to include this bugfixed release
in Mandrake 8.2, if possible.

Trying to use gcombust as user and complains about cdrecord permission. Says
user doesn't have permission or drive settings wrong.
Tried to start cdrecord from terminal and say's don't have permission.

Gcombust is missing the cdlabelgen package.
I rpmfind cdlabelgen-1.5.0-4.noarch.rpm
but get 'error: cdlabelgen-1.5.0-4.noarch.rpm cannot be installed'
Looked in contribs but dont see an mdk version?

mkisofs change some options name with the latest release, you must upgrade
your frontend.

I can now write data CDs again, but I still cannot burn audio disks
(from WAV files).

gcombust-0.1.31-1mdk.i586.rpm is rather useless combined with
mkisofs-1.12.1-2mdk.i586.rpm, it cannot use that new mkisofs.
There is gcombust 0.1.32 already, please try that.
