Hello

Latest cooker.

I've had a freak run of hangs on my machine. To cut a very long
story very short - I had a DVD movie (the Fifth Element :-)) in
my drive (pioneer 6xDVDROM) /dev/hdd->/dev/cdrom mounted at
/mnt/cdrom using supermount (the default during install). When it
would spin down the machine would partially hang. I could change
tty for a while but I couldn't do anything of any use. Even raw
input mode would only successfully halt or boot the machine - it
couldn't even terminate any tasks. Remove the DVD and hey
presto, no hangs. Any ideas folks? Sounds like a supermount bug
to me.

I've attached my last DMESG which summarises my hardware.

I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on this one!
