Hello, I noticed there was an "enterprise" kernel for a while on the mirrors, which gave me an idea. Would it make sense to have a LAPTOP kernel, with usb and pcmcia in the kernel? This would help a number of problems, including one which I have been unable to solve regarding a PCMCIA port CD-RW drive. Since the controller isn't present at boot, does not seem to be a way to make it ide-scsi. Just a thought. V.
