Linux version 2.2.17-29mdk ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version

release)) #1 Sat Nov 25 17:16:34 CET 2000

1. After selecting upgrade and pointing to my root partition, I see a message
that tells me it's formatting. Obviously it isn't - this is an upgrade,
right? Please change this scary message to something like "Please
wait while I figur out what to do next." or tell us what it is doing.

2. At the make bootfloppy stage I get this message:
     "An error occurred.
     insmod'ing module loop failed."

3. X is already configured - keep it? ... Yes.
But then it saves my XF86Config with a ~ suffix, makes another with extra
modelines I don't need and copies some of my modelines back in. In so
doing it manages to truncate some so that X will not start. For goodness
sake, if I say keep the present configuration, don't mess with it.
