Hmm, I've been wondering about how to handle stuff like this, is it
feasible to have people develop documentation in a wiki (be it
mandrake.vmlinuz.ca, mandrakeclub-hosted or even qa.mandrakesoft.com),
and have it feature in the searchable documentation on the distribution.

[The searchable docs on win2k3 server are very good ... which is why I
think we need to consider it].

I have compiled wt2db (which is supposed to convert wikitext to docbook
in the format the ldp uses) and db2omf (which is supposed to convert
docbook such as that the ldp uses to scrollkeeper format). The
scrollkeeper stuff is available in yelp and khelpcenter, I just don't
know if it's searchable. And so far I haven't been able to convert
anything from the cooker wiki to docbook that the docbook-utils will
digest ...

But, if it can be done, it would be a hectic feature!

Buchan
