Does this kernel support USB ethernet devices? I have Mandrake 7.0 on my
I-Opener and hate using ftp over dial-up for file transfer.

Hi to all.
I found a bug enabling "Preliminary USB Device Filesystem" in kernel...
When I try to copile sources with this option active compiler hangs with
the message:
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.1
Hi,
just installed the latest kernel packages on my notebook,
and now PCMCIA network does not start.
The missing pieces are the pcmcia-modules in
/lib/modules/2.2.15-3mdk/pcmcia: directory is empty!!!
So: No more network with this kernel...
So long,

Now that 2.2.15 has been released, is there any chance that it will be
integrated into the 7.1 release? I realize it is already quite late in the
beta, however I do not know what the process for integrating a new kernel
into the build would be. If 7.1 will not ship with 2.2.15, are there plans

Would it be possible to get Alan Hedrick's IDE
patches merged into the 2.2.15 kernels on cooker. The patches are very
stable and help anyone who runs a hpt366 or promise controller run their drives
better.

Package "kernel-2.2.15-0.9mdk" creates the modules in a weird dir:
"/lib/modules/0.5.3-0.9mdk/"
How could that happen?
I just moved it to ".2.15-0.9mdk and it works well.

Does anybody experienced this or it is only my machine?
I had to "borrow" the 2.2.15 -2.5.0 kernel and modules from redha
