My kmail identity is set to use the email address "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
(without the quotes). My smtp server is smtp.west.cox.net.
When I attempt to send a message with kmail, this is the error:
Sending failed:
The server did not accept the sender address.

Yes. KMail is sending this information. Basically, it's the HELO part
of an SMTP transaction, which is basically required by an SMTP

Use shorewall or something similar to adjust the firewall.

In current cooker Kmail I've this message:

It's a Kmail problem. Printing is way broke.
Please report it as a bug using the Help---> report bug in kmail and give
them your printer info in the report.
