Something seems to have broken in the nfs locking on kernel 2.4.4-6mdk. When I try to use something that needs locking I get the following symptoms: strace of process (testlk - tests locking) trying to lock a file (foo) on an nfs filesystem (current filesystem is nfs mounted): ... getpid()

[Cooker] NFS locking not working

Using the latest cooker, I am having problems with NFS locking. Maybe it is more confusion than anything else. My specific problem is that I cannot use fcntl to lock files. The errno I get is "No locks available". So in hunting this down I also noticed these error messages in my syslog: nsm_m
