To finish this saga I just reinstalled cooker again only this time with ext2
instead of reiserfs. here are the results of my shell script. It seems to be
fixed now. Imagine that!!!

/var/lib/urpmi" will gives no space left ?

Sorry I went back to a 20010302 version of cooker i had burned on cd to
diagnose. when i upgrade that version with urpmi it works perfectly. I think
it is a problem with file permissions and sizes. My df would have shown
plenty of space though i am sure

I just urpmi --auto-selcct came back up with this. sorry it is so long but
the same problem exists.

updating the urpmi db. yes i have done a rpm --rebuilddb and uninstalled
urpmi db. I think it is a problem with urpmi's suid. if so how can i change
it.
