There is NO way to determine which mirrors are the most up-to-date.
Some are quite behind and the two main ones (albeit not very reliable)
are usually the most up-to-date.
Unless someone tracks these or rates the mirros in order of performance
and recent-ness, it always a hit or miss whether

I agree here - same problem - packages get deleted but not updated -
therefore the local Cooker is always outdated.

are all hourly updated (at bottom output from rsync -avn on one of my
