Hey cookers,
I've have a Mustek 12000SP scanner connected to an adaptec 2940 scsi
interface. It was working on M7.2 but it doesnt with the SANE from
cooker (the scanner freezes after doing a preview when trying to start a
scan).
I could get it to work by getting the latest SANE from their CVS. I
tried to make a patch with the latest mustek backend files that could
have been easily added to the 1.0.4 RPM of SANE but that's not enough:
it seems the problem isn't in the mustek specific files. And somehow, I
don't think that using the CVS version as the base for the RPM is a very
good idea ;)
I'll try to find out more about this bug and hopefully I'll be able to
make a patch if possible. If someone else has a mustek scanner I'd be
interested to know if the same problem occurs too.
