as to cards supported by Mandrake its more cards supported by the KERNEL anything using the BrookTree TeleVision chipset should be fine btw BTTV is <- Hauppauge uses that chipset and "supports" linux so you should be able to just install xawtv or Kwintv or ... and issue modprobe bttv.o modpro
