Installing cooker from sunsite current to 5pm NY time.... "there was an error loading packages libltdl)-1.3.5-13mdk.i586 go on anyway?" ----i shoulda said no :-) "there was an error loading packages mySQL shared-3.33.36-2mdk.i586" After package install in configure services "an error occurred cannot list ther available timezones" then the killer: "error opening rpm database cannot open Packages index using db3-Invalid argument(22)" The installation exited then, but then said "successful". Fool that I am I rebooted. Still freezes on "bringing up interface lo" then at the login prompt: parport_pc:Strange, can't probe Via 686A parallel port: io=0x278, irq=-1, dma=-1" (must be them new irqs i heard about ;-) ) startx: "execve failed for /etc/X11/X" needless to say, it wont work :-(
