I have mailed a "polite" mail to the maintainer, to this list, since I got no
response I though maybe on this way I get attention, and it worked, sorry
about being rude but as I said I got no response...
once again: when I click on "detect devices" in preferences, I get no
response and I get

I can't reproduce this bug.
