I have a VIA ac'97 chipset on my motherboard (soltek 67kv+) and I had alsa manually installed on 7.1 and sound worked fine. Since 7.2beta/cooker the sound only works with the arts sound server off, and not all saved sounds in the kde settings work when they're supposed to. If I turn on the arts sound server the sound comes out all choppy.
