It is difficult to report bugs because the bug reporting tool at the Mandrake
website does not include beta 1 of Mandrake 8.1 in the list of products for
which bugs can be reported; the list ends with Mandrake 8.0 and Cooker.

On my system a fresh install of beta 1 of Mandrake 8.1 is a mess, at least
for users of KDE.

1) the Kmenu of KDE does not include a list of applications

2) trying to start kword or kspread from konsole resulted in "koffice (lib
kofficecore): ERROR: Couldn't find the native MimeType in kspread's desktop
file. Check your installation!"

3) running "which kspread" from konsole results in /usr/bin/kspread ok

4) supermount is not working (this was also a problem with MandrakeFreq #3)

5) MandrakeFreq #3 correctly used the pwc driver for my Philips PCVC680k
webcam, but beta 1 of 8.1 used bttv. Trying to run the application Camstream
with beta 1 resulted in camstream dying immediately. With MandrakeFreq #3,
camstream ran pretty well.

Are other users seeing things like the above? At least konqueror and kmail
are working ok with beta 1 of 8.1.
