Hi,

new beta is mixed success and failure for me:

- Installation and usbmouse:
The mouse stops working right after its configuration.
( I went to console and "modprobe usbmouse" then the mouse
restarted to work...cool...

network configuration:
I have modemcable and my ISP provides me
with a hostname with the IP address. The config keeps ignoring it
and keeps "hostname = default" !!!!
That makes some process to fail to start!
( "no associated IP address with hostname "default" )
postfix; httpd; etc.. all fail to start.

post install and running:
linux-fb and Aurora seems to "boot ?" gracefully. it works find for me.
( very nice, cute.. by the way :-)
Mouse:
Now I just can't make my usb mouse to work!!!
X (4.0l.1) can't find device and gpm can't too
(" mouse: can't find device /dev/usbmouse: no such device"
uh ? I do have this link (/dev/usbmouse -> /dev/input/mouse0),
and lsmod displays usbmouse as well. its loaded...but unused.
Thus, NO MOUSE at all.

KDE2:
beta1: I was complaining about KDE2 and its apps..
beta2: Now all seems to work fine.
but can't do anything without my MOUSE !!! :( grrrrrr

shutdown; reboot etc ... 100% failure. system hangs at "sending TERM
signal ..."
every time.

- keep up the work. Its coming and very promising! thanks.

Best regards,
Serge Lussier
