Just thought you should know that after a system restart, running cdrecord -scanbus the first time always gives an error. Run it again and it's fine.
Below are the two times running it: [root@localhost root]# cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord 1.11a15 (i586-mandrake-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jörg Schilling cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
