Hi Antony, What you might be having problems with is explicit congestion notification. Try this to see if your kernel supports it and has it activated cat /proc/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn if it returns a 1 then its activated. Do an echo 0 >/proc/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn to turn off the ecn bits then try your b

There seems to be a bug in the ppp code in kernel 2.4.0 that stops me from going to certain web sites. This bug does not occur when I take the same system to a friends and access the Internet via ethernet. This bug also did not occur when I was running a 2.2.16 kernel with the latest ppp.rpm ppp
