KDE 3 will not be included in 8.2. It will may be on Contribs CD, if we
have time to package it nicely. Otherwise, il will be available for

The startup for KDE3 MUST put the path to KDE3 FIRST. Otherwise you'll
be running all the KDE stuff from /usr/bin, which is KDE2, which won't
work, especially for all the "control" stuff like kdeinit and such.
You must have started KDE3 after logging in on a console, instead of
from the [xgk]dm

Just a note, if I use KDE 3 one time, I've got this :
