no since 16mdk you don't have to do that and you shouldn't do that
just type make in the directory and the module will build (and if you
boot on smp/enterprise kernel it will build the module for theses

If I can put in a request for the kernels to come with all the .configs
for the diff arch's to begin with, that would help...I duuno if just
coping the file is good enough (?)...
