Well, I just made a clean Cooker install and you can't even drag an object
from Konqueror to the desktop. Permission denied. Amazing.

Interesting. Because this _used_ to work in Cooker (dragging from the panel
and the kmenu to the desktop, as a user) but didn't yesterday. Maybe the KDE
guys at MandrakeSoft can change
