hi, just upgraded my system to the latest cooker (8.2 betaish) using urpmi. just a couple of problems which i can't seem to figure out..
1. i get a "getnamed failed" at startup which causes all the text after that to be random ANSI type characters. returns to normal at the login prompt 2. in profile it used to set path=path:/usr/X11R6/bin but now says Mandrake Secruity takes care of it. it's not being done for any of my login accounts. how can i fix this ? any other 'gotchas' i should know about ? thanks Mike
