This needs to be put into /etc/sysctl.conf on 2.4 kernels. this fixes the problems described below. net.ipv4.tcp_ecn=0 = My problem of PPP not working period or his access problem?? Robert L Martin PPP is supported it just dies on connect

A little off topic since I compiled my own 2.4.0test9, but there were webpages I couldn't access under 2.4.0 that I can under 2.2 ! Very weird. I couldn't even telnet to port 80 on us.imdb.com or www.linuxtoday.com. Went back to 2.2 and everything is back to normal, and I flushed the firewall o

Just to add to the mix i downloaded the 2.4.0-0.35mdk and found that it has PPP dialup working (after insmoding the modules) but no sound (may need to insmod also) [direct compile of kernel.org tarball gives sound no ppp the big question is What version is 35 based on?? TV stop being cute about ve
