It's mostly up to the packager. Or some other poor soul that needs a package
for some reason on there personal machine (example: me).

I saw there were some package that needed efforts for back-porting from
cooker to 7.2, so why not just add all package that support simple
rebuilding ? Gimp 1.2, for instance. I know everyone can do it by itself
