I don't think I've ever seen a BIOS update that didn't require a floppy disk boot using DOS. And none that were Windows executable files. What kind of BIOS is this? IIRC an asus athlon board I have an Asus P2B (which is a Pentium II/III board), and it's flash BIOS routines are
