hmm, this is what I've done already:
tried to remove most of the inconsistencies, like
- mdkconf patched config that was actually never used
instead wine.reg was copied to user's config
- use patched sample config
- tried to guess which option

Actually only the second set will work. single quotes don't have
variable interpolation but they still do have escaped characters like
\n
