I have the last beta of 8.2 and I was wondering if anyone knew the best way of updating my install without downloading and burning the ISO's. The only crux is that while i have a good connection, it isn't on the machine with Mandrake. So, basically i want to download the updated rpms and copy

Wow, I see that MDK8.2b2 uses a vga driver for XFree86-4.2 on my ppc6500/250. I don't even want to know how this is possible, but I like it :-) Thismight havefixed my major problem with the 6500/250, frequent lockups in X using fbdev or the ati driver. I just have one problem with the vga

I went through the archives and did not see this addressed so I'll ask. As soon as I get the isos burnt, I want to put 8.2b on a G4 DP 450. I would like to install to a second hard drive (IDE). Is there any problem with the boot loader going on the second drive? Setup would be: Drive0 = 20
