Hi, I tried installing Release Candidate 1 this past weekend but could not get the graphical installer to work with my G4/466, Rage 128 Pro and 22" Cinema Display (even with ofonly). It seems that the supplied 2.4.4 kernel does not have the 22" Cinema Display patch to enable vmode 22 (1600x1024). Is there a chance that the 22" Cinema Display could be fully supported in the final release? Note also that XFdrake does not allow selection of 1600x1024 and there was no listing for the Rage 128 Pro. Does XFdrake consider the Rage 128 Pro to be the same as a Rage 128? I was able to use the text installer (though I got lots of locale related messages strewn all over the screen) after which I left XFdrake with the default settings and then booted up into run level 3 to upgrade the kernel and install the XF86Config-4 file from my LinuxPPC installation (had to make a few mods to get it to work). I am now up and running and I am impressed with what I see so far! Ron McCall
