There seems to be some basic incompatibility with the kernel in the
install ISO and some of the machines. I had hoped to resolve this by
using an updated 2.4.4 kernel in the final release canididate, but now it
has introduced new issues with some machines in Paris. Drakx (the
instal
LinuxPPC is certainly no longer the benchmark for PPC Linux distributions.
My current Mandrake install splits a 5.2G partition into two partitions,
one 3.1G, the other 2.1G. I don't believe YDL 2.0 has any limitation on

ISOs is due to hit the mirrors pretty soon - I'm told its been nailed down
pretty well, its just a matter of it being sync'd with the x86 tree (or something

partitions than the 2 GB max of linuxPPC?

is the only computer I have available to put mandrake on so I haven't
