Hi people, I've installed on my Mac G3 266 (Minitower) an PCI TV Card (Turbo TV). During the installation it is recognized by Linux as "BT 848 TV with DMA push). Well, when I try to configure it the tool says me that "no TV card is installed" what can I do to force XawTV to understand that there is a video card on the Mac?
Another little problem. I've two hard disk installed on my box. A Samsung 8 GB and a Maxtor (ad hda) of 40 Gb. At the boot the kernel says me that it can't activate the DMA setting (failed!). I must force everytime the kernel to activate this feature with "hdparm -d 1 /dev/hda" at the end on the boot process. Do you know if there is a method to do this at the boot without force it with hdparm? Salvatore Comito
