Hah, that was a joke based on my past experiences with PPC Linux, rather than a "bug report" for Mandrake. (sound seems to work fine on my iBook2). But I'm glad to know that you care about sound - which is not the case with the developers of some other distros! I do need to get back to you about

when i try to access /mnt/cdrom/ it says i don't have permission for that location. in permissions, evryone has read/write. i also coudn't access it under su. or software manager and i know this isn't a mandrake question rather a kde one but since i'm here i'll ask. how do i shut off that anno
