I am very interested in mandrake, I see that this list really gives
answers. I have some issues, I did searches all over the internet and saw
only incomplete data.
A.The umax s900 is a 6 slot machine , is this supported, I saw some
notes about the bridge chip being nonstandard.
B. I have a turbomax 33 pci card which allows ide devices to be used
(makes them look like scsi to mac, apparently linux is smarter)
C. I have a twin turbo card that came with machine is it supported.
D. I have an xlr8 g3 350 , does the cache get initialized.
Experiences:
An ydl 7.0 gets lots of unknown interrupts and dies because it does
not see cd boot
A suse 8, also gets lots of unknown interrupts and then sees the
scsi cd, and sees the first partition of the ide drive on the turbomax, have
not got further.
Any ideas or suggestions?
