I have made pancakes in the oven.
They taste good but I don't think they turn out as fluffy as those made
in a skillet.

I agree.
That is how I do it.
the center of the pancake starts to rise. You can feel it with your
fingers. Sighted people describes it as a big bubble forming in the middle.
I was told by a rehab teacher to make them in a oven and then cut them.
Because I couldn't see the bubble forming.

wait about three minutes is a good enough guess, and you cant
