Hello all:
I was under the impression, that we were only suppose to send in a limited
number of recipes.
I have just found at least 7 posts by one person.
Isn't this policy in the rules?
Thank you.
Regards,
John McConnell

Hi Christina and list.
For those who don't know, quinoa is a seed, a little smaller than a grain of
rice. It cooks like rice, a ratio of 2 cups water to one cup quinoa, and has a
mile nutty flavor.
It can be used like rice and is good mixed with black beans and corn, with some
chopped onion and
It's a grain enriched with protein and fibre.
Just wondering if anyone uses it.

To make this more authentic you could replace the quinoa with bulgar wheat.
Just a thought.

When I do sweet potatoes, I peel them, cut them into pieces, cover them with
oil, salt & pepper & roast them in the oven for 30-45 minutes. Sometimes I have
leftovers, & I heat them in the microwave. When I did so recently, there was
smoke in the microwave. Is this from the oil on the potatoes?
If memory serves me correct we are allowed seven recipes per day. Also, once a
month the list guidelines are sent out. Enjoy, and happy cooking.

Hey, anyone got a decent recipe for either curry powder or curry paste? I
don't need recipes using it, as I have plenty of those, but a recipe to make
my own spice would be wonderful so I can experiment with the flavors.

There used to be a frozen twice baked potato at my local grocery store, but
no more. You bake the potatoes, cut them in half, then scoop out the
potato, leaving the skins. Then mix the potato with additional ingredients,
put the mixture back in the skins, then bake again. So . what were those
