We just wanted to send a warming recipe from a very cold South Carolina
where we have several inches of snow.  Mike

 

FAVORITE CHILI

 

2 cans of kidney beans drained

2 one pound cans of tomatoes (we use the basil, garlic and oregano ones)

2 pounds of ground chuck browned

2 medium coarsely chopped onions

1 green bell pepper coarsely chopped

one pack of chili seasoning mix

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Put all ingredients into crock pot in order listed.  Stir together.

Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.

(I add two tablespoons of chopped garlic and if it is not as juicy as you
would like add one small can of tomato juice).
