LEMON BARS

      1 pkg. lemon cake mix

      1/3 c. butter, softened

      1 egg

      1 can lemon frosting

      1 egg

      8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

      1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

      Powdered sugar

      Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch pan. Combine cake

mix, butter, and 1 egg, at low speed until crumbly. Press in prepared pan. In 
small

bowl, combine frosting, cream cheese and 1 egg at low speed until well blended, 
then

beat at highest speed until smooth. Stir in nuts and spread over base. Bake at 
350

degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until firm. Chill for 2 hours or until served. 
Sift

on powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
