Hi there.
One thing you can do to try and get lighter bread is to microwave your
flour for about 30 seconds before tipping it into your bread machine.
Same for water if you're using cold. HTH.
Cheers

I have one. It is not very blind friendly. It has several buttons on
it. They control the size of the bread i.e. weight, what type it is,
i.e. white, whole wheat, pizza, etc., and how dark you want it. Their

My older White Westinghouse bread machine is completely accessible, but it's
also old enough that nobody was into the menu systems yet.

Hi all! Karen and I have an accessible bread machine, meaning that
since we put dots on the buttons, we know which is which, e.g. crust
darkness, up/down arrow, etc. And, the machine conveniently starts over
at a pre-determined place each time it is unplugged and re-plugged in,

As far as I know they don't have any that are real accessible. T's why we got
rid of ours. Now, when my husband makes bread he makes it by hand.

Mine was awful as I said before. It didn't have a consistent default. A
friend now has it and that is okay because I used her bread machine,
successfuly, for its dance of death. It made one good loaf for me
before it met its' maker.

Hi, I'm thinking about making my own bread but not sure how accessible bread
machines would be for totally blind people. Honestly I've never even seen one.
:) Some of you say it can be done and some say it's impossible. Please would
you give me the pros and cons?
thanks
