I am trying to install windows 8 on coreboot (4.11 branch) + seabios.
The installation stops with the following error message:
Your PC needs to restart.
Please hold down the power button.

I investigated
I don't see the problem here TBH. There's no issue, security or
otherwise, with coreboot having fmap regions within the IFD BIOS
region that are not contiguous. Alignment requirements (eg, 64k) for
some regions practically guarantee this.
