Strong database and SQL experience, preferably experience developing systems in an Eclipse environment, working with Hibernate to provide data persistence, Oracle 10g database, BEA Web Logic mid-tiers, and legacy Cache’ environments. Proven experience in developing and supporting large SOA initiatives that are similar in scope and complexity to the VA’s HealtheVet-VistA initiative. Proficient in Object Oriented design and programming. Proficient in web technologies including XML, XSLT, XSD, WSDL, REST, HTTP. Proficient with Agile Scrum development processes. Proficient using source control systems such as IBM Jazz Source Control, Perforce, or Rational Clear Case. Experience in building and designing asynchronous, message driven systems with JMS. Experience building web services using SOAP, REST and HTTP. Experience using Test Driven Development practices. Experience in mentoring object oriented developers in design and/or development. Strong Linux and Windows skills. Excellent communication skills NICE TO HAVE: Experience with Information Builder iWay Service Manger development. Experience with Caché/Mumps development Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs VistA and CPRS systems. Experience with Java EE 5.0 or greater. Experience with .NET.
