This unit will be based in the Syracuse business office where assigned staff will manage each of the losses in "incident" status until it becomes necessary to raise the loss to "claim" status at which point the loss will be transferred to the appropriate NYC business office for management. The following requirements have been identified so far: -Modification of the New Case System routing rules -Diary creation functionality in the New Case System for NYSIF losses and ATF losses Activation of four unit designations for use by the Central Loss Intake Unit.
