Manager Comments: In our analysis of our CMS processing we’ve discovered
the need to automate several file manipulation processes. Basically people
are manually getting data files, loading them on their desktops and doing
some data manipulation, and then moving them to internal systems for
processing or transmission to CMS. We need to automate several of these
processes and are looking for a developer with the following skills:
- Experience in developing in MS SSIS 2005 or 2008
- Knowledge of SSIS variables and expressions
- Strong experience in SQL
- Experience with data ETL processes
- Familiarity with MS SQL Server
- Ability to basic DBA tasks: create tables, bulk data loads…
- Experience automating and understanding of FTP and File Watcher
concepts
