*Job Description:*

 

• Detailed understanding of Informatica Power Center 10.2 Components

• Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality standards, guidelines and best 
practices

• 3+ years’ experience in defining and deploying data quality programs and 
tools on enterprise data quality projects

• Experience in data profiling & data quality rules development using 
Informatica Data Quality tools

• 3+ years of data analyst experience performing data profiling, data 
mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test 
cases, etc.

• Experience with Address Doctor a plus

• Proven experience translating business problems into actionable data 
quality initiatives

• Familiarity with current trends in Data Quality technologies.

• Good knowledge on Informatica Data Services (IDS) Informatica Analyst and 
Informatica Developer

• Experience developing web services-based applications with SOA

• Data mapping experience - mapping data sources to and from multiple 
applications

• Experience in BI tools (TAbleaue) is a plus

 

*Role Description*

IDQ Development

• The Informatica Data Quality Developer (DQ Developer) is responsible for 
designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality procedures 
and their outputs

• Throughout each project phase, the DQ Developer provides relevant outputs 
and results from the data quality procedures, including any ongoing 
procedures that will run after project end

• The DQ Developer must also document at a functional level how the 
procedures work within the data quality applications.

• Perform upgrades when necessary

• Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of 
quality information increase across the enterprise

• Responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from 
development thru test

• Ensure oversight and access management for the IDQ Repository

• Maintain and support the Address Doctor Real Time connector with the MDM 
Hub environment

• Maintain data matching logic and Address Doctor dictionaries

• Support all request for new API Connections Business Rules Management

• The DQ Developer must partner with Data Quality & Data Governance to 
provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to 
make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the 
data

• The DQ Developer must also document at a functional level how the 
procedures work within the data quality applications

• Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on 
requirements gathered from business units. Maintain the business playbook 
which lists all re-useable business rule assets.

• Provide Data Quality Scorecards, Dash-Boards and Ad-Hoc reporting

• Providing recommendations for modification or creation of business rules 
based on data results

• Implement on-going monitoring jobs via Control-M

• Aptitude to understand business challenges and offer advice on how to 
solve them with DQData Quality as a Service

• Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on 
requirements gathered from business units

• Managing and prioritizing a request queue for new data quality monitoring 
requests over new data elements, new data quality rules, and maintenance to 
existing rules

• Provide a high level of data quality awareness within the Data Service 
Delivery Unit assigned

• Provide reports for data matching consult on pattern analysis and provide 
insight to data quality errors

• Support data cleansing activities and spreadsheets which can be utilized 
for Winshuttle load scripts.
