Line Item 1: Technology Architecture: Operations *Primary Skill: Operations Architecture-Deployment Models *Years Experience: 5+ Years Additional Rqmts:IT Large Scale system management Expenses: No *Work Location: Dallas, TX *Start Date: Mon, 21 Sep, 2009 *End Date: Wed, 30 Jun, 2010 Hours Per Week: 45 Resume Required: Yes Overtime Exempt: Yes Full Description: o Ability to analyze, design and manage large scale IT systems. o Good experience with developing solutions for large scale problems o Ability to analyze large volumes of data and developing recommendations based on the data o Coordinating solutions with large group of individuals across multiple systems o Good understanding of databases, i.e. Informix, Oracle, SQL etc o Ability to develop various data migration solutions and resolve potential DB issues o Familiarity with varieties of hardware and hardware concepts such as Virtualization o Resources with prior VZT experience will be helpful o Prior experience is with large scale system migration is required o Must be highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel , word and Visio • Responsibilities o Analyze all applications (164) moving into and out of Fort Wayne for Hardware/Software and application related design and architecture issues. Resources will work with each and every application to understand requirements and develop solutions; o Develop a broad migration strategy for project north systems to move into Fort Wayne so that it aligns with strategies published by network, VPS and VSO systems; o Work with every application with a Database and identify appropriate migration strategy. SOW resource should be familiar with databases and should be able to assist development teams in developing workable migration strategies; o Develop end to end use cases to be tested for project North. Use cases must include all telecom flows, products and services across the entire footprint; o Develop solutions for the project north special projects that require applications to make changes to accommodate moving of the applications in/out of Fort Wayne.
