Below is the questionnaire to be asked for Platform Admin with Linux Secure
environment role:
· How many years of experience in Linux/Unix
· Experience in Security hardening for applications
· Experience in Vulnerability scans
· Hands on experience in certificates
· Best practices for server and application hardening experience
Job description:
• 8+ years of Linux and UNIX system administration with strong
hands on knowledge on Operating system
• Knowledge of Linux (file systems, network stack, etc.)
• Deploy, configure, and manage Linux servers
• Create and execute scripts to perform needed system functions
• Experience to install, configure and manage application in
Linux
• Vulnerability remediation experience
• Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host
computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance with
business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and
regulatory compliance.
• Maintain security risk awareness by monitoring ICS-cert and
other industry sites.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery processes and patch
management
• Linux and Unix scripting experience
• Preferred Linux and Security Certification
Expectations and role:
• Looking for a platform admin in RTP to manage the sys admin
role
• Linux admin with Security knowledge
• Ability to access and fix the vulnerability scan reports
• Work with OEM for the application issues
• Strong knowledge on DLP, Security, certs, application uptime
and troubleshooting
• Preferred Windows server administration knowledge, AWS
knowledge preferred
