Many thanks to you Pat; always delighted for feedback. The bankruptcy records 
are valuable as they can precisely locate folk to a year, location and calling 
– often the only record of a forebear. Assizes records are also useful, but do 
not always state the townland addresses of those attending court. I am unable 
to claim a bankrupt amongst my forebears, but have identified some who would 
have been known to them (fellow merchants and neighbours).
