Ok, thanks for the help! So far no luck. At the bottom are my estmp related
config files, I hope they might shed some light.
The DNS resolves correctly for the domain I tried to send to from the broken
box so that remains a mystery to me.
The broken box runs on cable so it get's some bogus h

Courier 0.38 and Snapshoot 20020403 are having problems with vpopmail

The authmodule vhckpw always returns negative for some users.
I have made a program that creates and tests some random accounts.
See a run with ten accounts (some phrases in spanish):

I have defined a virtual domain alias setup for my
domain (hornyllama.com) with a .courier-default file in the home directory of
the user it points to. I also have a mailbox defined on the same domain ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
My goal is to be able to define mailboxes and aliases on this domai

I'm doing compatibility testing with various IMAP clients, one of them
being Outlook 2000. I tried to delete a folder using Outlook 2000 and got
back "Cannot delete selected folder." I started a sniffit and tried the

Unfourtunately, this didn't resolved my
problems. The ./authtest still fails.

My REDHAT 7.2 machine uses the stock pop3 and imapd /etc/pam.d/ files as
created via the rpm without a hitch.
Which means they are of the following form (you didn't list this
configuration as a tested method):
auth requiredpam_nologin.so
auth requiredpam_stack.so service=
Hi,
I just can't get pam authentication to work on

I have followed all manuals and guides etc but i can still not install

Due to this I have scrapped it all. I would be v
